This part is used to UPGRADE your existing RFC-89-TN, car side "nipple" to allow it to accept the "LM" Lock mechanism version of the RFC-89-K-LM coupler, to allow you to gain the enhancements of the latest products, without having to change your complete carside "Nipple".If you are using this part to upgrade your Porsche Cup Car to have the ability to use the Krontec Coupler fitted with the "LM" system, you WILL NEED to make modifications to your bonnet to allow it to close, due to the dimensional change this ring makes.Please note: You will need to purchase separately 12 x M5x5 Grub screws. For details on the conversion see our fitment instructions PDF document on this page.ALSO this part cannot be used on the Specific Porsche GT3 vehicles because they have a specific car valve (Nipple) placement and there is a specific adapter ring for this vehicle ONLY, you must contact Porsche motorsport for this part only if you want to fit to your Porsche GT3. Check the Nipple on the car, and if it has "LM" laser etched on it then your nipple is ready to accept the Coupler with the Lock mechanism.
